I’m sure there are good and bad parts just like any other state. Chicago has a high crime rate but some people love Chicago 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s pretty subjective.

Broke af, doctors having to pay their rent with vouchers saying they can’t be evicted even though they can’t afford their rent because they haven’t been paid in months, because they can’t afford to pay them. Crime is terrible, and no offense if you live in IL, but there’s a certain cultural difference to the girls in parts of central/southern IL that you can spot a mile away. Resources suck. Just a shady and corrupt state all around. Northern IL, particularly around Chicago is mainly bad for crime. Drugs are bad everywhere, but they’re super easy to find in IL😂
