Another paranoid preterm question 🙈

Nicole

I am high risk for preterm labor.

Can over exertion cause labor, shortening of the cervix, contractions etc. If you are high risk for preterm labor?

I had another long day on my feet at my fast pace cafeteria job. It was go go go with no time to sit or take a break til the lunches were over. 5 straight hours. By the end I felt so much pressure and pain in my pelvic area, I was in tears leaving. I started cramping on my right side but that has now gone away. The pressure and pain is still there tho. I know thats pretty normal with weight, baby and every thing pregnancy. But is it ok to be pushing my body to where it feels this painful being high risk? Can I accidentally "kick start" something? Just wanted to know if its a possibility or not.

Going to have the same exact type of a day tomorrow and was wondering if maybe I should go in just a little later ( I always go in 1-2 hours earlier than scheduled to help out)
