37 weeks today, and maybe a baby today?

I have been dealing with gestational hypertension since 34 weeks along with on and off preeclampsia symptoms. I got results back from a urinalysis with protein levels in the 900s, the doctor sent me to L&D and told me we would begin induction the baby would be here today or tomorrow. When I arrived the doctor on call said he wanted to do more tests before inducing. We are currently waiting on him to let us know what’s next. Am I having a baby or not!? Feeling just a bit frustrated.

Update** the doctor on call was concerned because my baby is small, so since my other levels have changed (since Monday) and my blood pressure is fine he is letting me hold off a little while with strict monitoring in hopes of giving baby a little more time.
