IUI without meds

I've had 2 live births naturally but had an ectopic pregnancy last year which left me with one tube. I truly think it was due to the clomid that I took which is why I'm hesitant to take it again. We have no fertility issues, weve both been tested. So has anyone ever done

IUI

without meds? If so, ehat was the outcome?
