Suddenly got sad he's gotten so big.

When he was 5 months old, we were gifted this talking Paw Patrol doll about his size. The fact that it talked, and maybe because it was as big as him, made him afraid of this doll. I put it away in a corner.

Today baby is 8 months, almost 9. He ran through his usual toys and got bored. I saw the doll in the corner and put it in front of him. Maybe he'll play with it now.

Baby was a full head and shoulders taller than the doll while sitting.

I was stunned, and then got sad. He's supposed to grow and so he should. But a wave of nostalgia for a mere few months ago hit me.

Baby was still scared that the doll talked though. So not everything has changed. 😆
