Mexican culture?

So my s/o refuses to change our daughters diaper. He doesn't mind cuddling her and stuff which is awesome but I never understand why he doesn't want to change her diaper or take turns feeding her. 
I talked to his mom and she says its because hes a man and they're not supposed to touch her and that I'm supposed to only be taking care of her. 
So I dont get it. What are the men supposed to do?? My s/o dosnt even work. He just games on the computer all day. This is driving me crazy! They made me feel like I'm wrong for wanting to take turns feeding and changing OUR daughter. Is this a culture thing?

Also... a douche bag that has no job and plays video games all day...🤦‍♀️ dont know how you found him, but if this was me, I would kick his ass to the curb asap. 
My husband works 50 hour weeks,  comes home, helps around the house, does his own laundry,  plays with our daughter,  changes her, feeds her and does it all without being told anything. Because we are a family. 
We have every console imaginable in our house. Ps1, ps2, ps3, ps4, xbox 360, xbox one elite, PSP,  ps vista,  etc etc. The only time we play is after everything is done for the day and our daughter is down for the night. He also helps bathing her if my back hurts too much and even lays down and reads her a book before she goes to sleep. 
A husband and a father of a child, is supposed to man up and actually be a good human being,  a good husband and a good daddy.
Otherwise,  you are better off as a single mom.

Sure it not might be the most comfortable thing in the world, to change diapers of the opposite sex as a father, but you ARE a father and you should absolutely contribute to diaper changing.

I am Mexican and my s/o is also Mexican. I do take care of our daughter more but because I am home with her more often. He has changed her diaper when asked to though and when he has been alone with her. My parents had 3 girls and my dad changed all our diapers. More of an outdated stereotype than a culture thing
