IUI timing

So Monday (6th) I had a follicle at 22, I think 2 others right behind that too but not sure size. They had me trigger right then. My fertility clinic always does IUI’s at 24 hours (7th) so I had to go in the next morning. Temps confirmed ovulation on the 8th. I know washed sperm doesn’t live as long. Does anyone know if it can still work or have an experience when it did work? We did bd that night and the next night but due to my husbands varicocele vein causing low count and viscosity bad I’m not counting on any of those swimmers.
