Anyone else already having a bad Mother’s Day? We live with my in laws so my MIL is getting all of the attention. We’re doing a big dinner in honor of her. I wished her a happy Mother’s Day and she said “uh thanks” and didn’t wish me one back and my husband didn’t wish me one at all and when i asked him about it he said “you’re not my mom”. I know I’m not his mother but considering neither of my children can say it, it would be nice for him to say it for them. Nothing has been planned for me. Just my MIL.

Also, my daughter is sick and she wants to stay in my MIL’s arms instead of me holding her...I know this probably doesn’t seem like a big deal to most but it’s hurting me.
