So long story short I am in grad school for my doctorate degree and also taking summer classes since I am working on my mba. I have always been super focused on school and in order to get good grades I needed to be very focused. Well recently I have figured I can try and get a job. So all last week I stopped by companies since there is one job I want that will help me with my future career. I wrote up a whole letter and dropped my letter off at several places and am waiting to hear back from one ceo if they would be willing to start an internship program for me. If you can’t tell I am very motivated! Well today I was FaceTiming my bf and his dad goes so are you working. I almost flipped since he has asked this before and I explained how much school consumes of my life and all then my bf goes “you know she never works” I about wanted to hit him so hard how he said it was so disrespectful as I called him all last week to proofread my letter and all. He is so unsupportive and I honestly am so mad at him. He never stands up for me. So I went right back since he graduates this week and go “well your son hasn’t applied for a job yet and he is done with his education” (I still have 2 years until I officially graduate and get a full time job). Obviously this isn’t th first thing him or his family have said but it’s just so annoying.
