I am currently using the implant as my form of birth control. I am worried that I might not be able to get pregnant after getting off birth control. My mom used depo shots as her form of birth control, and she wasn't able to get pregnant for 9 years after getting off of it. She only used the depo shot twice. I'm worried that the same thing may happen to me even though I'm using a different form of birth control. I have been on the implant for a little over a year. I just wanted to see if anyone else experienced difficulties trying to get pregnant after getting off birth control since I want to start trying to get pregnant in 2 to 3 years. I'm considering getting off the implant now to hopefully avoid what happened to my mom. Ever since I was in high school she always told me to never go on birth control because she was worried the same would happen to me and that she really wants to have grandbabies.
