Red eyelids? Newborn allergies?

My baby isn’t even 3 weeks old yet. We just got to Oklahoma from Texas for the weekend and this started happening today? It was right when we got to our hotel. It’s not a dirty hotel or anything. I’m not sure what’s going on 😢 her eyelids randomly get red

My newborn has the discolor around her eyes as well. Still don’t know what it is as Doctor doesn’t seem bothered since inside of eye isn’t red. Have you determined what caused it for your LO?

does she have birth marks on her eyelids? as weird as it sounds my daughter has them, one right on her eyelid! (along with one in the middle of her eyebrows, one on the side of her head and one on her lip, they usually go away within 8-18 months). it’s always red but whenever she gets super tired it gets even more red. usually when babies are tired their eyebrows/eyes turn a little red, it’s an early tired cue i’ve learned to look out for. you can definitely call your pediatrician if you’re worried though.
