bleeding a week before my period...

I started bleeding about a week ago maybe a week and half. i’m still bleeding. it’s a dark brown, gray discharge. sometimes a little red. not really any blood clots. i’ve been on my birth control for about 4 years now. my period is supposed to start tomorrow or wednesday. i have a regular periods. what could this be? could i be pregnant?
