If heartbeat is strong at 6 weeks, does possibility of miscarriage go down?

The risk of miscarriage does go down slightly after seeing a heartbeat BUT that doesn't mean that I can't happen. Out of my 13 losses 10 had strong heartbeats for 3+ scans (I get them weekly). Not to scare you but the risk goes down slightly but still doesn't mean it won't happen.

Yes once a heartbeat is seen on the ultrasound the risk of miscarriage drops and the pregnancy has a 78 percent chance of viability. Risk of miscarriage continues to drop each week.
