My 2.5 year old has now started refusing naps and I’m at my wits end. The process to get him down for a nap lately is a nightmare. I feel like I’ve tried everything but he a) won’t stay in the bed and b) has an epic tantrum when he knows it’s nap time. I mean kicking and screaming bloody murder tantrum. Lately he refuses to wear clothes or even a diaper during his nap, he has to have the light on in the room and when/if he falls asleep it’s on the floor.

I’m just so exhausted from all of this. I have an 8 week old now too so trying to get my oldest to take a nap while holding the baby or nursing the baby is so difficult.

And I don’t think he’s ready to drop the name altogether bc if he doesn’t nap it’s a struggle until bedtime and his behavior shows he needs the nap.

Any tips? Or just words of encouragement? Lol
