Baby doesn’t have a pattern yet but midwife said I should be knowing when she moves?

I’m 21 week so still early but some days I don’t feel her all day and then only for like 10 minutes before going to sleep other days she just moves here and there during the day

I'm exactly the same. I'm 22 weeks and my baby has some days where's she's super active and other days where she is very still. My midwife told me to start keeping an eye on her routine after 24 weeks, and by 28 weeks there should be an established routine. This early on they still move around a lot but they aren't big enough or strong enough for us to feel but come the 3rd trimester they should be getting snug in there so everything is a little stronger.

She being your midwife , she should know that babies are still tiny at this point. You won't always feel her move because of how much room they still have. They also sleep a lot , since they're growing so much, so you won't always feel her move. That's why Doc's always recommend to start kick counting @ 28 weeks.

Baby's have their own personalities and preferences just like everyone else. They don't fit nicely into a box. 21 weeks is still early, it is likely that she has enough room that you don't feel every time she moves yet, only when she is in certain positions. I think the time to be concerned is when a baby is in a pattern of moving a lot or at certain times and then there is a sudden decrease in movement.
