When to buy maternity clothes ?

I’m 9 weeks pregnant and I’m starting to notice that my pants are getting tighter and my shirts feel uncomfortable. However I feel like it’s too soon to buy maternity clothes. Does anyone have any advice ?

Around that time I bought a band extender for my pants and a couple of maternity shirts. I really like Old Navy, Walmart, and Target because you don't have to spend a ton for clothes you'll only be wearing for less than a year.

I bought one pair of maternity jeans and one pair of work pants from ASOS at 10 weeks. Tried to make it work with the hair tie with my regular pants but the bloat has been real. All my pants got pretty uncomfortable and I threw in the towel at 12 weeks. First pregnancy, no weight gain yet but blagh. 😓

If you buy now, I would go up a size. They always say shop your prepregnancy size, but I gained weight with my pregnancy so my maternity clothes got real snug towards the end.
