Here’s some back story: Two years ago I dated this guy, we’ll call him Tim, for around a year or so. Tim and I met online, in a chat room, and moved to private messaging. He’s four years older than me. We talked all the time, flirted, and sent pics regularly. He’s also never made any sexual advances or pressured me into sending pics or meeting up (he lives in Germany anyways) so, for all y’all who might think he was grooming me, I highly highly doubt he wasn’t.

So. Tim and I ended up breaking up because of the long distance. About a year ago we started messaging again casually, talking about random things and how our lives are going.

As if this week, our conversations became a bit more, I dunno, flirt??? ... Here’s how our conversation went (sorry in advance for all the emojis-):

Me: Do you ever, like, think about our old relationship? It's chill if you don't, just wondering is all

Him: rather rarely nowadays but sometimes I do, yeah. there sure was a lot of drama haha. all worth it for the breaks in between though

Me: Gosh, it’s literally been like two years and you still somehow manage to make me blush idiot 😂😂

Him: ofcourse i still manage to make you blush. after all, i've been YOUR idiot for quite some time 😋

Me: How the heckin dare you make me all flustered in class 😤

Him: wish I could've seen you😝

Me: I was just kinda sitting there, watching the movie, and had to cover my mouth with my sleep bc your dumbass made me smile so much

Him: that sounds way too cute😙

So, uh, yeah, I think I’m definitely catching feelings again... idk, it’s lame but he was my first boyfriend that really felt like a boyfriend, and I really loved him...

So first: is this serious flirting? Or just him being flirtatious? Do you think he actually means it?

And second: what should I do about it? Should I try and ask him out again? Or just forget it and pretend it never happened?

I don’t know what to and I’m all blushy and checking my messages 24/7 to see if he responded and I break into a huge ass smile when he messages me helpppp😫😫😫😫

UPDATE: so, uh... it’s been three days and he hasn’t texted me back... but this is usually how it is... idk I feel so shitty and I don’t know what to do😫
