Can I cut out carbs?

I’m 5weeks pp and I’m exclusively breastfeeding LO. I’m finding it very difficult to lose any weight. Breastfeeding doesn’t seem to be helping me lose weight the way it helps some other women.

My question is- can I cut out carbs from my diet while bf? I don’t want it affecting my milk supply. I’ve already cut out dairy and I’m trying to cut added sugar too (which is very hard for me because I have the biggest sweet tooth!)
