It’s bruising from the trauma of the piercing. It’s fairly normal.

It's a trauma bruise. You just had a hollow needle shoved through one of the most sensitive spots on your body, it's going to bruise and swell and not look good for a bit. Lip piercings swell a lot. My cousin had her lip pierced and it looked like she got punched in her mouth for about two days, the swelling was so bad. It healed beautifully though.  Try icing it and taking aspirin or ibuprofen if you're in pain and don't touch it. Do whatever aftercare your piercer recommends (you can also do a sea salt rinse in your mouth, just don't swallow it) and if it's not gone in a day or so, go see your piercer or a doctor.

dude go to a different place and have them check it. did they use a clean needle? have you cleaned it and if so how many times ? there is a thing called over cleaning but it just looks extremely infected and a little irritated. 
it also could be rejecting it because of the metal.

You'll be fine! Don't take it out, swish with whatever they told you to and nothing else!

Do not take it out first of all, any piercer will tell you that if it is a infection that if you take it out the infection could get worse and spread in your body. It looks like regular trauma to me but I’m not a professional piercer. I would go see the piercer and ask them. Best of luck.
