Is sex an important part of the honeymoon? Why or why not? How much sex did you have on your honeymoon?

Yes! 
I saved my virginity and everything sexual for my husband on our wedding night and honeymoon. We had sex 2-3 times a day while we were on our honeymoon for 3 weeks!! It was amazing!

Every marriage is different, of course, so I can only speak on mine. Sex is very important to us. It was on our honeymoon, it was through our hardest years in our marriage, and it is now 14 years later. On our honeymoon we stayed at a bed and breakfast and we stayed in our room a lot but we also did a lot of fun things together. But we've had many vacations since that were just as lovely and had just as much sex. A honeymoon isn't the only chance we get. Actually, if you waited till marriage sometimes it can be awkward, and sex won't get better until you learn each other and that's normal too. So I believe it's a yes and no. 😃

Sex is important for a married couple whether on a honeymoon or not. 
That said, I had my period for 3 days and given it was my first time the honeymoon wasn’t like I imagined. There was pain, awkwardness, annoyance and repentance.
When we let go of honeymoon expectations, things got better. We allowed ourselves take it one step at a time but it wasn’t till we were home that we had real full blown sessions and found positions that worked for us.
So, take it easy, let go of expectations and enjoy what’s before you.

Of course, it's a union of two people. But its definitely not mandatory nor the best part of the honeymoon. I just enjoyed having my hubby all to myself for a bit.

Most of our honeymoon was spent in the room watching YouTube and the rest he spent pushing my wheelchair...we couldn’t even have real sex until over a year of marriage. I spent a lot of our honeymoon dealing with intense withdrawals from one of my medicines. I was in so much pain, and when we did try to do anything, it hurt like I was being torn in half.
BUT I still had a good time! There’s so much more to a honeymoon than sex. It’s so nice to just be married, sleep in the same bed, have meals together, and just be husband and wife!

It wasn't for us. I was 5 months pregnant and miserable with a bad cold...we had sex like twice the whole week. I felt fine my wedding day but the next day it hit me out of nowhere

Personally I thought it was going to be an amazing night ever but we were so tired of getting up super early and sleeping very late while our honeymoon was at Disney World. We did have sex but it sucked. Though in our one year anniversary we made up for it. Lol
