Is it still illegal to kill people

So my mil has a baby shower planned for me and her " wonderful daughter". I thought it would be cool you know. This " beautiful woman" wants to wait to know the gender of her baby. Cool right not for me she talked her mom into a fucking shower I can no longer back out of. In the end of July 😬 north west airlines penutbutter seracha I am not going more than a few miles away form the hospital I am due the 16th and everyone in both families came early. Sorry I am just really annoyed now that I can't back out because I know going to this is a bad idea
