Is a bit of spotting normal at 27 weeks? Just went for my first wee of the day and there was some bright red blood on the tissue, only a tiny amount. Should I be worried?

Was there blood in the urine, or was it from your vagina?
UTI’s are common in pregnancy.
If you recently had sex, it could have irritated you a little, and spotting is pretty common in that case 😊

I would just keep an eye on it and call in the morning to ask just in case because it was bright red and not pink or brownish. It’s more than likely a small hematoma popped or a blood vessel somewhere, but better safe than sorry.
