Experiencing weird arrhythmia maybe? Anyone else?

So for the past month on and off I’ve had episodes of weird arrhythmia. My pulse will be normal for like 4 beats then speed up and beat fast for like 5 beats and repeat the same pattern. Doesn’t make me dizzy or anything but it is so weird. Has anyone had the same or similar? 2 weeks ago I had a bad episode of tachycardia which landed me in the er. I’ll be having a halter for a month too try too sort it out but silently worried about all this.

It sounds like you might be wearing a 30 day cardiac event monitor and I believe those are events that a doctor can see right away without you having to go in. If anything is urgent they will call you. Hopefully it’s just a minor pregnancy symptom!!

I have SVT (and had it before pregnancy) so yeah I’ve had those feelings too. But the monitor will be really helpful, and reassuring for you. Try to just relax and know that if there’s anything, the monitor will catch it and they can figure out what’s going on. You’ll be okay mama!

Tell your doctor! I have had this in pregnancy once or twice. It's a little scary for sure. Your doctor will definitely want to know.
