I will be getting my membranes stripped at my 38 week appointment this Friday, at my 37 week appointment I was 4cm dilated and my OB said my cervix was right where it needed to be and baby boys head was RIGHT there. What are the chances this will get me going in to active labor? Especially with how dilated I already am.

Btw, this is baby 3 and I have very quick labors, my second I went from 5cm to her born in 23 minutes.

My first I couldn’t feel any contractions until I was 8cm dilated and had been on pitocin, labor with her was very short as well.
