Weird question please answer tho

Ok I’m in no way familiar with period sex but I see a lot of people ask if they can get pregnant on their period. Well I have a question. If you have sex on your period and the guy cums inside you wouldn’t the period blood just wash it back out with the blood that’s coming out? Just curious.
