Guys is it wrong of me to not be okay with my boyfriend getting high but be okay with him drinking in his home responsibly?

I feel like I’m being semi contradicting but I called him to see why he wasn’t home from work because normally he is by 10:30 and I was worried. I call him and he’s laughing away with his friends telling me he’s high. It’s annoying cuz he told me he wouldn’t do it anymore since he knew it bothered me but ion know maybe I should just let it go?
