Pumping in the middle of the night even when baby is sleeping through the night?

Hi everyone!
I exclusively pump for my LO...he sleeps through the night, but I am still waking up once in the middle of the night to pump. He is 6 months and a week old. Anyone else out there doing this or am I just totally crazy?! 😂 
During the day I don’t go more than 5-6 hours without pumping (average is every 3-4 hours) so I wake up at night to pump because 8-9 hours is too long. I’m afraid I’ll get super engorged and have clogged ducts and I’m afraid my supply will drop too low if I drop the middle of the night pump. However, I’m getting to the end of my rope with sleep these days. 
Any advice from your experience is greatly appreciated! 😘

Same here! Well, until about 2 weeks ago. I couldn’t do it anymore. My emotions were everywhere, and I just needed a good nights sleep so I started to wean myself off of pumping.

My LO is 6 months. I pump 5:30am 10:30am 4:00pm 9:30pm, no night pumps.

I dropped my overnight but had to add it back in bc of supply dip. I exclusively pump. If I could go back I wouldn’t have dropped my middle of the night pump. Took a while to get my supply back up & was a lot of work.

I also exclusively pump! I dropped my middle of the night pump a long time ago, when I first did I woke up very engorged and uncomfortable but it only took a few nights for my body to learn that I wasn’t needing milk then so it got a lot better! Make sure you wear busing pads cause you’ll probably leak, you can also use heat pad or so sting similar on your breast when you pump to help if you get clogged ducts abs massage while you pump, I can’t remember if I got them or not related to dropping that pump because I used to get them so often I am now a pro at massaging them out haha

I did this too for 4.5 months - pumped at midnight, 7am, 11am, 2-3pm, and 7-9pm. I dropped the midnight pump a few weeks after my daughter started sleeping through and my supply was definitely negatively affected. I was able to get juuust enough for her with 4 25-30 min pumps (previously pumping for 15 min max), but decided to stop all together around 5 months. We weaned her slowly with my freezer stash and is now on all formula. It was a hard decision, but I feel so free now and can actually rest during her naps instead of pumping. If you want to keep going, I’d suggest keeping the overnight pump.

I’m right there with you!  I pump at 9:30pm then up at 2:30am to pump again.  I’m so ready to drop the motnp and get more sleep.  I’ve been so afraid to drop it because I get so much at that time but now that my LO is 6 months I’m thinking about slowly pushing the time back so I can get more sleep and make it easier on my body.

I do it too! I just cannot stay for that long, unless I pump late around 10:00 pm and then I get up around 5:00 then pump again! Such a pain. Miss sleep the whole night so much!
