9 week gestational age, 164 heart rate, enlarged yolk sac, and subchorionic hematoma

Erin

Hello all, I am looking to see if anyone else has or is experiencing a similar situation as mine. This is my second pregnancy and completely different than my first!

I am 9 weeks 1 day along and have been diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma. The baby was measuring behind a few days but had caught up within the last 3 weeks. I had my first transvaginal US at 5 weeks 6 days due to spotting and cramping. That is when they found the hematoma. I’ve been having regular US every week since then.

Yesterday at my appointment the doctor informed me that the bleed is still there and maintaining size ( which should not be happening) I have an enlarged yolk sac and they see fluid around the baby and potentially the brain as well. You did some chromosome testing yesterday and will be doing additional genetic tests and a follow up with a high risk specialist next week.

I still have so many answered questions and keep looking at my ultrasound photos trying to make sense of what they see.

Would love to hear other stories 💕
