i've seen people get married after dating for three months, and they've been together for 10+ years, and people who dated for six years get married and divorce after a year.
there's no formula to making marriage work.

I mean we dated/were engaged a total of maybe 8 months? Don’t judge others not everyone needs 6 years some people take 6 months and are perfectly happy. No matter how long you never fully know the person till you marry them

I think every relationship is different as is everyone's opinion. DH and I started dating March 2011. Moved in together May 2013. He proposed March 2014, so we were together for 3 years already. Married Sept 2015, and couldn't been happier. I don't regret our timeline at all. We've been together for 8 years with our first on the way.

It’s ok to have a personal time line but it’s really not for everyone. My husband and I met and were pretty much inseparable after our first date. We were married 11 months later. Been married for 4yrs now and have our rainbow baby on the way. We have our moments but we’ve grown together in this relationship and knew we didn’t want anyone else.
