I sleep trained and two weeks before I did I stopped feeding right before bed and move it to the beginning of our night routine. Then when we sleep trained it taught her to soothe without the boob

Sort of🤷🏻‍♀️😅been working on weaning him off a feed and back down to only one feed in the early am (3-5am). Pediatrician said he doesn’t need anymore night feeds so that has given me gusto to push forward. If he wakes anytime before 3am, I have hubby go and resettle him. Also, he has all of a sudden started doing really well at soothing himself to sleep after he wakes. Hoping it keeps up!

In the day I feed him when he wakes up so when he goes down for nap he wont need to eat and he can just learn how to put him self to sleep. At night I nurse him to sleep. I'm still working on night

I love love my late night feedings, call me crazy. I just limit it to once a night. If baby wakes up between 12-2, I feed. Otherwise I hold him out until AM, and treat it like any other night waking. He doesn’t seem confused, and I still don’t let him fully fall asleep nursing. He self soothes for all naps and falling asleep at night, so I think they way I did it works for us!
