Is this odd or does anyone else feel the same way?

Question

When my baby is born, I want her all to myself.
I don’t want to share her, I don’t want people taking pictures of my baby. I don’t even want them holding her 😹
Too possessive or does anyone else feel this way ?

ugh me too. I keep telling my husband I am dreading that all the family is going to want to come and see her and I am never gonna get to love on her

Pictures I dont care about as long as they arent being posted publically.  But definitely agree with you about the holding thing. I also have mo desire to take her out in public or leave the house for the first 2 months and people think I'm crazy for that.

I’ve struggled with this for months! I’m incredibly close with my family (not so much the in laws but) and even with that being said I have been panicking about not having time with just me, my husband and baby girl. 
Everyone says you’ll be grateful for the help and I’m sure I will be, but it’s tough to predict how I’ll feel! It’s just such a special time and I want to have it be what I want...also feeling crazy and selfish!

I’m the opposite!! I want to share her with everyone. It’s not my baby. It’s out baby and my husband will be very very involved. She will have an older brother and sister and a million cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, friends, etc. She’s going to be one lucky little girl.

I felt like I’d be like this when I had my son But I ended up wanting to show him off to everyone. I got a little anxiety when I wasn’t holding him for a long time but because I breast fed I got him passed back to me a LOT lol. This time I’m more excited for visits.

My first was born a week before Christmas so we had to stay at my in-laws for a few days and it took everything in my power not to choke everyone!!! They wouldn’t leave her alone or put her down, they wouldn’t stop kissing her, and I actually had to pry her out of their hands to nurse her. 🙄🤬😣 Something primal takes over. I was so relieved to leave!!

I sort of feel that way. I am cool with my hubby and other kids but I don’t even want to deliver when my in laws are in town 😂 my parents are fine but yeah I just want to baby hog too lol.
