Someone on here asked me the other day what a deep-fake is.

Basically if you’re familiar with Snapchat filters, it’s like the Ferrari of them.

People can change your voice and copy your face onto someone else.

Many women have had their faces stolen and put onto porn actresses faces and then distributed, and some have lost jobs and friends and relationships over it.

Now trump fell for it 🤦🏼‍♀️

And as much as I don’t like this president.... what if someone made a deep fake of him, threatening or declaring war and missiles, and without fact checking another country reacted that second?

Will the rise of deep-fakes make you more open minded? Or will you see something targeting “the left” or “the right” and you will continue to repost without research because you don’t care what happens to the other party?

Deep-fakes are also used without visuals. Scammer phone calls can happen and you will hear your loved ones screaming for help while someone says if they aren’t paid, they will die. They hack into your phone, record voices, check typical names like “mom” or “husband” to call back when they have used your voice into a manipulation program.

So will deep-fakes be the end of us? Or will it cause so much destruction this is what will bring us together?
