I went to the ER Tuesday with some pink/brown bleeding. They checked on baby and said that he/she looked perfect with a strong heartbeat and it may have been implantation bleeding, amongst other things, but couldn’t give me a solid answer. I had a follow-up with my OB Thursday and she said baby was looking great and I measured at 8w2d. Today (Friday) I went back to the ER because I was experiencing small stringy red blood clots, but again they did an ultrasound and baby is developing as he/she is supposed to with a heart rate of 169 bpm. The thing that concerned me is that they took my HCG levels Tuesday and then we’re 8990, and today they are 8558. Although my baby is healthy via ultrasound, should I be concerned about my HCG levels? Any input or similar stories would be appreciated!
