1 year old twins hate solids

My girls just turned one a little over a week ago! We introduced solids at 6 months, trying everything from purées and BLW to no avail. Sometimes they’ll take purées happily, sometimes not. They touch food and put it in their mouth but definitely not ingesting it, mainly to inspect it. They have 8 teeth each (first one at 5 months!) and I thought the teething had a major impact but now I just don’t know if I need a specialist to analyze this situation. All of my friends kids eat a ton. My girls are sleeping through the night (11ish hours) and even offering food when they first wake up doesn’t work. It definitely feels defeating, but they’re happy and both 20+ lbs so I can’t complain too much. Am I missing something? Or is it a waiting game?
