Pregnant for the second time. Is it twins?

I had no idea I am pregnant, my boyfriend and aunt were the ones that told me I was before I took a test. My aunt who has twins in my dad's sister and their mother has two sets of twins. Im just wondering since I'm my father's daughter will those genes pass down to me? I want twins so bad. My aunt was telling how she was still getting her period all the way up until delivery. She was sick in other ways, not so much nausea. And that's what it was for me before i got a positive test. Because I was thrown off with that early period soon after i just got off one I have no idea when I might've concieved and I don't get my ultrasound to see what's in there until June 10. I keep coming across multiple coincidences in 2s. Like the universe is tryna tell me I'm probably gonna get the twins I always wanted 😍😍😊😊 what symptoms did y'all get before y'all found out it was twins?

Are the twins in your family fraternal? If so, you might have inherited the hyperovulation gene. It doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll have twins though. That’s why a lot of people say twins skip a generation - because not everyone in a family with twins in it will have them. There are no twin specific symptoms so there’s nothing to indicate you are going to have twins. You’ll just have to wait for your ultrasound to know. Good luck with your pregnancy.

My nipples leaked when I was 3 weeks pregnant and I had so much hcg I peed on the stick for 3 seconds and got an immediate positive at 3 weeks.

Having a background of twins (fraternal) in the family matters only if it is on the mother's side.
Identicals just happen.

Its my first pregnancy... and I haven't had any weird symptoms at all my pregnancy has really been uneventful. I have about 4 sets of fraternal twin cousins (it skipped generations so far) the last set of twins in my family are my first cousins.  All are on my father's side my husband has no twins in his family.  
I can say my boobs hurt like bricks and I would feel "growing" pain that seemed to last a little longer then normal

My first pregnancy is with twins, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but my nausea is SO bad. To the point where my stomach feels consistently full and if I eat even a little, I’ll get sick. Lower back pain was another thing that I noticed early, even though I’m small and haven’t gained weight yet (lost 5 lbs since BFP) Sore boobs, especially on the sides, like tingling feeling. - but that could be with Singleton pregnancies too! Tbh, nothing truly lead be to believe I was having twins until my ultrasound!
