Instagram shout of an ex?

My boyfriend has an Instagram shout out of his ex still on his page from before we got together,, like tf, wouldn’t you think to delete it? He and I have been together for a year
I mentioned it a few months ago but I didn’t ask him to take it down, it sort of bothers me, should I ask him to?

Sorry idk what a shout is, but I never delete the photos of my exes l. I just delete the captions that have anything emotional written down since the emotions are no longer there. Cause in the end, they were still part of my life & if I didn’t have any beef with them/the relationship ended amicable I don’t see why I should delete them. Deleting a picture isn’t gonna delete them from my life

My ex used to have photos of his ex on his fb. It was there for the longest time only because he hasn’t thought about it since. But I let him know how much it bothers me and only then remembered about it and deleted it

My husband deleted all pics of his ex. But she still has them and I think it’s weird she still has them up even though he’s married and doesn’t even talk to her. I think that’s weird. But yet again my exes still have pics of me even though I have none of theirs. Some people just don’t want to let go of the past or don’t find it a big deal since it is in the past 😅

If it bothers you tell him to take it down, don’t be afraid to be vocal. One of the worst things you can do is suppress your feelings thinking they’ll go away. It’s only going to come up further down the line.

I would ask him, bc while it bothers you, he might not see a problem with it still being there. Unless he refuses to delete it, I wouldn’t think its Ill-intentioned
