The Best Husband and Friend I Have.

I met my lovely husband on a boat in the middle of the ocean while I was on active duty in the Navy and deployed.

We were both young 20/21 and going through a divorce.

We bonded over the struggle of being young and just trying to get through being screwed over. (We were both cheated on and taken advantage of financially.)

When deployment was over (10.5 months) we had grown close enough to want to move in together, plus it would help us both money wise. We moved into a 2 bedroom apartment with nothing but the clothes in a seabag, not even any furniture.

Fast forward, we got engaged and became pregnant with our first together (my husband has a son from his first marriage.) Our son Leon was born in Feb 2015, a month after we got married. Our son died tragically and sudden at daycare at 3 months old in May 2015 (you can look on my profile about Leon’s story.) This was and still is so hard on us. It put our marriage through the ringer, it was HARD it took lots of work but things got better. Then we went on to have Oliver (almost 3), Karoline (1.5 years old), and coming soon Clark.

Six years together, 5 kids shared, and a lot of depression and rough times but we made it through and are so happy and in love.

I am so lucky to have him, no matter what awful hand life dealt us... we always made it out on top together.
