Anyone else struggling with cramping after birth?

I'm finding the cramping following birth almost unbearable 😭 baby was born yesterday and the cramps I'm getting, especially when feeding are as bad as labour pains, paracetamol is doing nothing to help

Mine lasted like that for 4-5 days and then it started to wean a bit. Hang in there mama!

I promise you they go away! I almost cried every time mine were so bad. After 4ish days they went away. Hang in there!

First pregnancy no pain or issues after birth - no cramping. Second pregnancy holy hell I had some cramps and yes it felt worse than labor cause I didn’t have any good pain relief! I caved and took norco twice in the hospital but it really didn’t help much. I cried it was so painful. I couldn’t like move.

Yes! I got them all the time when I breastfed my baby. It’s just your uterus contracting after birth, pain meds didn’t help me either but it gradually decreased days after I gave birth. I still feel a little cramping now 15days pp but nowhere near what those earlier ones felt like.

If you are breastfeeding then you will get those pains, it's your uterus contracting back when you feed... I'm on day 4 of having my baby an breastfeeding an it has slowed down some... You got this hun hang in there

Im 5 days pp now and the cramps have mostly stopped but yes at first they were terrible!
