Genital herpes

Hi ladies

So I was diagnosed with genital herpes around 10 years ago. I have a few outbreaks a year but it’s manageable now and when I have an outbreak I don’t use any treatments. I just wait for it to go.

Anyway I’m 13 weeks pregnant. My partner doesn’t know I have genital herpes. I just avoid any sexual intimacy when I’m having an outbreak.

My partner has come with me to every single appointment so I haven’t been able to speak to my midwife about it.

Are any of you pregnant and have genital herpes and if so have you spoken to your doctor or midwife about it??
