When did you & your partner decide?

When did you and your partner decide/agree you were ready to start trying for your first baby?

For me it happened when he woke me up and asked me to me the mother of his kids and from that moment it changed me and we decided ok let’s do it!

All these cute stories, it’s been 9 years we been together, he JUST NOW said his ready ( I think it’s because my bc is really really messing up my body and he’s just tired of me complaining) but still no babies 😭

Neither of us wanted kids when we got married. But we decided we wouldn't even talk about it until we'd been married 2 years. Well, we talked about it, and 1 year later we decided to start trying. O2ut daughter was born later that year, 2014. We're trying for #2 now.

He thought about it for a long time, and he knew he wanted me to be the mother of his kids he looked at as Im a good woman and had my stuff together! Now im pregnant with baby number 2!

Around our first wedding anniversary, three years together.  He’s 32 and I’m 28. Were both well established in our careers and have done lots of traveling etc together. We felt ready for that next step in life.

Was understood when we got together we both wanted kids. He was 30, me 28 when we met. We were both in agreement that I’d come off birth control when we got married and see what happened. Unfortunately, it was not easy for us, and 18 months of 💔, but I am happy to report we are pregnant now

Just recently :) 
Together four years, married for two come October. He has three kids from previous relationships so it wasn't a for sure thing he wanted at first, but he's definitely come around and wants to have another baby. So hopefully some day!

For us, it started with him telling me multiple times he thought I would be a wonderful mother want wanted me to be the mother of his children. My husband respects child bearing as a woman's domain and he understood and respected my judgment and bodily autonomy when I told him I wanted us to be a bit more stable first. (My timing was great, the company he worked for went out of business soon after he made his desires known and I had a mental breakdown about 4 months later. I supported him in getting the great job he has now, he supported me during my treatment and healing.) When I told him I felt it was time, he came with me when I got my IUD out and trusted my judgment with.... conception strategies. (He still jokes about that.)
