Fur Baby and New Baby - Harder than I Thought!

My 6 year old lab is the sweetest dog on the planet - he’s met and loved many babies and he knew I was pregnant before I did - now that baby is here - I think he’s BURSTING with love and just wants to play with him - but it’s stressing me out! Our younger dog who is more hyper has turned into a little nurse/mama bear and is doing better than I could have imagined - when will the big guy calm down?? I just want some of my normal back (for the record there are no signs of aggression toward the baby or anyone else - he just sits guard of the bassinet and sometimes nudges it - and if we lock him out of the room when I nurse or at night (they used to sleep with us and I’m sad they can’t even be in the room - the little one could but is it fair to let her and not him?) he just sits by the door and cries like he does next to the bassinet - any advice would be greatly appreciated - I love all my babies so much and on day 3 home from hospital I know it hasn’t been long but I really just want things to be back to normal (ish)
