Which baby nappies and wipe did you use? Uk

I know some brands people say are definitely a no no and how useless they are with leaking and wipes just tearing

Aldi’s, Sainsbury’s and Lidl’s are great! We had no problem hated pampers for the younger ones! Now we’re in pull ups so only use pampers as there the cheapest and the best

Iv heard aldi nappies are meant to be brill. With my son 11yr ago i used pampers nappies and wipes. But didnt like huggies as i would find when pulling wipes out they would just rip and the nappies were just as bad as the sticky bit would pull off. Not sure how they are now. Iv heard alot of good reviews about the water wipes. Im 12wks tomo and also debating what wipes nappies to use as im going to start buying everytime i go shopping or there on offer

I’ll be using a mix of pampers and Aldi’s own, to see which I prefer, as for wipes I’ll be just using huggies as that’s what I used for my first born

I live in Western Europe but we probably have same brands? We used pampers premium care.

My baby hasn't been born yet but I've spoken to several of my friends and the general consensus I get in terms of wipes is water wipes are great for the meconium poops but they're a bit too wet for general use afterwards and then huggies or Pampers 'pure' are good.
I'm not too sure about nappies, I've bought some kit and kins (biodegradable) for the first few days and then I'm going onto cloth for both nappies and wipes xx
