Help with curtains!

Hi all!

I love the curtains I have up there but I really need to get some blackout curtains for nap time purposes. I found some mauve pink ones I like but how would I hang them? Would it look silly to put another small rod right below that and hang completely separate? I cannot overlap them because the other curtains are grommet and these are not. Or should I just take down the white ones and put the pink ones up? Help!

Ps. Don’t mind the bed, we have to make do with this being a spare room and nursery so I am trying to make it as cute as possible!
