Am I ready? Should I start?

I have a question for all the mothers out there. When did you knew you were ready for a second child? What did you take in account to consider your decision?

I’m planning on waiting at least 4-5 years for baby 2. I want my son to be able to communicate with me and understand what being a big brother means.

Things I need before my second child:
• both my husband and I having a stable job (we just moved and still looking for solid work) 
• be a year into both our careers
• a house of our own (no roommates)
• getting back in shape (I like all natural labor and it increases your chances of a successful labor)
• my son to be at least 3-5 years old
• my son to be fully potty trained 
• my son to be in preschool would be perfect as well
I honestly feel ready for #2 now but I know logically I’m not ready so I want to wait until we reached our goals. We waited 3-4 years before trying for our son so I guess I’m used to waiting 😂😅
