HSG testing?

So I just found out today that my testosterone levels are elevated and I have officially been diagnosed with PCOS...obgyn ,not a fertility haven’t even seen one yet, ordered HSG testing, does this hurt what should I expect?

My HSG was the most painful thing I have ever experienced. Mind you, I have 7 tattoos and I would rather take those any day. 
But it is so interesting to me because I know soooooo many women who felt nothing but maybe a little pressure (just feeling the balloon a tad) and that was it. Even from women who have no pain tolerance. There's honestly no way to guess if it will hurt or not. Definitely take the day off because you'll want to relax. The cramping later is real!. Also, dont be like me and wear improper underwear and light leggings to the hospital for a procedure that requires a pad after to catch the iodine colored dye. Big mistake lol

When I looked on here I saw a lot of pain reports - there are two kinds - the sono hsg or saline sonogram is legit nothing! I took the day off for my first one ... did it on a lunch break my last one ...
