Who here gave birth to a boy w/ c-section vs vaginal delivery

Question

Just by curiosity...
I had my daughter through vaginal delivery but now I’m due w/ a baby boy & I need to get my head straight. All I keep thinking about is Avoiding a c-section.. it scares the crap out of me..🥺 
Most people that I know who had boys needed a cesarean... thats why I’m asking who gave birth w/ or w/ out ....

How you deliver your baby has nothing to do with it’s gender. Only your and baby’s health status.

Nothing to do with the gender of baby. I had my 11 and 8 year old girls vaginally then this year in January I had my son vaginally as well. All 3 kids were early as well.

Had boy and a girl both are them i never needed a csection and you wont have a c-section done unless its necessary

My daughter was born via c section. I didnt plan on it, it just needed to be done! It’s nothing to worry too much about. If it needs to be done, it’ll be okay. The recovery does suck, but you’ll be fine. Focus on getting baby here safe and sound, that’s all!

I personally had a girl and had her vaginally but have tons of friends with boys who had them vaginally and several friends with girls who had cesareans. I think the people you know are just a coincidence of your specific acquaintances. How you deliver has nothing to do with gender. However, if you do need a cesarean, while not ideal, you still get a healthy baby to take home, so it’s still a win for all involved. The recovery may be a bit longer with the average cesarean vs the average vaginal delivery but there can be unforeseen complications from vaginal deliveries too (for instance my daughter cracked my tailbone on her way out and it was brutal to recover from).  Overall, as I’m sure you’d agree from your first, the recovery time, whatever it is, pales in comparison to the joy of a new child. Congratulations on your son and i wish you all the best!
