TMI postpartum bleeding

So I am 7 weeks postpartum. Bleeding had stopped around 5 1/2 weeks, went to 6 week check up, didn’t get an internal exam but wasn’t having any issues at all so I was cleared.

Had sex twice and now bleeding is back bright red/brown. Not too heavy, but enough that I have to wear a pad. Is this okay? Should I cal my OB? I want to avoid that if at all possible, but I’m a little concerned. Anyone else have a similar experience?

EDIT: I’m 99% sure it is not my period. I’m exclusively breast feeding and I haven’t had any period symptoms. I know it’s possible, but I’m pretty sure that’s not it.
