Is nipples showing through clothes tacky?

My husband says don't worry about it (of course he would say that he loves it) but I want to hear female opinions. I have big nipples I have always been self conscious of and usually wear padded bras to hide them.  He says show them off. Not like braless but just let them show through a regular bra.  Thoughts?

Personally, i’d never feel comfortable w my nipples showing through clothing or a bathing suit.  But you do what you want

Wear whatever you are comfortable with. It’s not his body. Everyone has nipples and I’m sure yours are just fine. It’s in your head. If you want to wear a padless bra for him, do it but you by no means have to wear that shit in public if you don’t want to.

I don’t wear a bra.. ever. I feel horrible when I wear one and I even got one professionally fitted, I still felt horrible in them. I couldn’t care less what people think. They’re just nipples, nobody says anything when you can see men’s nipples through their shirt so why’s it a big deal when you can see a women’s?

Y'all I wasn't saying no bra lol. I always wear a bra. The question is if I wear a normal bra (not padded) and my nipples show a little is it tacky? It seems to be more accepted these days if they show a little but I'm sure I would get some nasty looks.
