Infertility testing after miscarriages?

I had 3 miscarriages in a year.  The last two had a viable heart beat.  Not sure what's going on.  I miscarried at 7,8, and 9 weeks.  Does anyone have experience with testing reasons for miscarrying? Do you need to keep the fetus or tissue for them to do testing?

Have you had your progesterone levels monitored? After two miscarriages, I started progesterone and am now 30 weeks.

After my 3rd loss they did bloodwork to rule out thyroid issues, lupus, & some other things that would make pregnancy more difficult. I didn’t have to submit any tissues from the miscarriage or anything. Mine were are 5 weeks, 7 weeks, & 9 weeks.

You don’t need to test the fetal tissue, but it can help to figure out what is causing the miscarriages (chromosomal abnormalities or something else)

I did the reoccurring pregnancy loss testing and it was all blood work about a month after my last miscarriage.
