How long after a natural birth did you start driving again?

My paperwork says 6 weeks buuuut that's not really going to work... I'll need to drive myself to my appts.. my husband just started a new job and he's taking time off to be at the hospital with me but none after..

Alot of people drive right away the reason they say no driving is because it gets very uncomfortable to sit

I drove myself home from the hospital the next day

The day after I was discharged. My daughter was in NICU and nothing was going to keep me away. I was driving 3 days after delivery.

After natural birth I drove the day we came home from the hospital.. so 24hrs after birth. Then maybe 2 days later.. I felt great and didn't really need down time from driving.

2 days with my first. Maybe a week with my 2nd? I didnt have a lot of pain so it really wasn't an issue.

As long as you aren’t on any pain meds you should be fine. With my second child I drove myself to the hospital in labor and home when we left.

After a month because I don't have a need. I was able to walk and sit well in just a week.
